About PBS Law

Looking for an amicable divorce or separation?

I help people who are separating, divorcing, or starting a new relationship to have the discussions and make the decisions that build a solid foundation going forward. I am patient, practical, and responsive. I coach my clients through the legal, emotional, and financial matters they need to address to begin the next chapter. My clients prefer to avoid court, and prefer healthy conflict resolution.

I am collaboratively trained, and a member of Collaborative Divorce Ottawa.

In Addition

In addition to family law, I have practised in insurance defence, civil litigation, products liability, construction law and estate litigation. I have worked at national, mid-sized, and small firms, all in Ottawa. I co-founded and ran a firm for 13 years. That experience has contributed to my understanding of business structures and issues encountered by business owners.

I was called to the Ontario bar in 1997, after receiving my law degree from the University of Toronto in 1997, and an arts degree from the University of Waterloo in 1992.

I live with my husband in Kanata, and am the mother of two young adults.
